What is a BIM ?
BIM is the process of creating a digital model of a building using both 2D and 3D elements, while embedding project-specific details throughout its lifecycle. BIM integrates information from all trades—architecture, structure, MEP, and more—to create a synchronized, realistic representation of the project, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed at every stage of design and construction.
BIM Detailing refers to the process within BIM of adding highly detailed information to the BIM to enhance its accuracy and realism. This includes specific project components such as panel or curtain wall sizes, finishes, materials, products, and other detailed elements. BIM Detailing transforms the model into a more refined version, closer resembling the building design to it's real life version.

Common Softwares Used in BIM
Modeling:
-Revit / Autodesk / Sketchup / SolidWorks-
Clash Detection:
-Vectorworks / NavisWorks / BIMCollab / Fuzor / Tekla Structures-
Rendering:
-Lumion Twinmotion-
How does D7+ Utilize BIM?
Beyond the traditional applications of BIM, we leverage these models to deliver added value, including detailed product finish schedules with realistic textures and advanced rendered visualizations of entire buildings or specific walls and attachment systems.
Our BIM models go beyond design and visualization—they are tools for generating precise fabrication drawings, material quantities, and detailed schedules, which streamline the construction process.
